ABORIGINAL ART

I learned a lot clicking through this WebQuest. I've seen the aboriginal imagery before, but had no idea of the symbolism that existed. The tradition of storytelling without words and the encouragement to experiment with non-traditional art tools present a great opportunity. The links that you chose really enhanced the quest.

your webquest is so inspiring. in secondary methods we made up a cirriculum map and our topic was symbols. this webquest would've been so helpful at that time. i'm definately going to compare it to the map and possibly even borrow some of your ideas.

This webquest offers a lot of insight into the Aboriginal culture for students. I enjoyed navigating through the links you provided--it helped to make the learning experience very engaging.

Great authentic lesson for bringing such a wildly foreign aesthetic to the kids. Is this a WQ or an eLecture...? Look at making a WQ based on open ended creation? This has wonderful external resources for the kids to research Aboriginal styes prior to doing the painting.

Yeah Art is a significant part of Aboriginal life as they all are being connected to their roots, religion and ethics. This is why Aboriginal Art painting is one of oldest art present today.
